WHAT IS THE COST TO BE A YOUNG APOSTLE?
The cost of being a Young Apostle is determined by the individual conferences. The cost ranges from $225.00 - $260.00. This price includes a week’s worth of training, your conference registration, housing, meals, snacks, leadership training, special materials, activities, and a Young Apostle T-shirt.
WHY SHOULD I APPLY?
To grow in your faith, to see God’s awesome presence in your life and in others’ lives, and to learn how to be a leader in Christ through service.
APPLICATION PROCESS
HOW DO I APPLY?

The applications deadline has been extended to March 8, 2007. Applications must be received by then!
There are multiple ways to apply to join Young Apostles. You can select from any of these options:
- Fill out the online version of the application by March 8.
If you complete the online version, follow these steps:
- Complete the online application and hit "submit".
- Make sure you receive a confirmation email from us with the parental consent form attached.
- Have your parents sign and mail in the consent form.
- Your youth minister will receive the recommendation form in an email. Have them complete the form and mail it to us.
- Download a PDF version of the application, complete it, and return it to us.
If you choose to download the PDF version, please be sure that you do the following:
- Print out the document.
- Complete the entire application
- Have your parents sign the consent forms.
- Have your youth minister complete the recommendation form.
- Mail the document to us at the address below
- If you cannot obtain the application online, contact the Youth Outreach Office at 740-284-5876, or e-mail us at youngapostle@franciscan.edu, and we will mail you one.
- Or talk to your youth minister.
PLEASE DO NOT FAX YOUR APPLICATION, CONSENT FORM, OR LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION!

WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF MY APPLICATION?
All results will be mailed some time after April 1.

CAN I FAX OR E-MAIL MY APPLICATION?
NO FAXED APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! You are not able to send the application via e-mail, because it needs to be signed by you and your parents. If you filled out the application online, print it out, sign it, give the recommendation form to your youth minister to fill out and mail in all of the forms.
